I was looking for a fic where KID's identity was discovered and he had to flee to another country. He came back after the statute of limitations ran out. I can't remember what job he got though.

I thought that since this group helped me find the first fic I was looking for so fast that I would ask for help with this. Thank you for any help!

I don't know if this is the one your looking for because Kaito willingly reveals his identity once he finds Pandora, but it is a good story.
