Notes: Ugh, this fandom makes me do the weirdest pairings! But I love it. ^_^
It had started with a kiss. An innocent brush against the lips, really. Complete accident.
But that Complete Accident had felt like so much more. In the less than second they’d held contact, both of them had felt a rush, a surge of energy exploding in his brain and wrapping its way down his spine, leaving a pleasant tingling sensation all the way down his back. In short, it had been electrifying.
And had sent both of them into a blushing fit. And, the urge to do it again.
But they hadn’t. Not until many weeks later, when they were locked inside a room together, no way out except to wait for the locksmith. Who wouldn’t be there for several hours.
Admittedly, they’d taken the first two to just work up the courage(neither had ever felt this way before about someone of the same gender, and it was slightly scary,) but once they’d started it was hard to stop, but even harder to explain why their hair and clothes were so messy.
It was easy to pinpoint that it was more than just physical when they spent the whole day talking, and didn’t find themselves bored once. Despite what they knew was mutual, it was still hard to admit it to each other, even if they knew it themselves. Fear of rejection—the unknown, perhaps more so.
It was even harder to tell their friends. Their friends who took it in stride and then in all seriousness asked when the wedding would be. And Heiji who asked which one would be the bride.
And they were happy. Their friends were happy for them, and nothing could be better.
It was after the honeymoon, which really WAS their first time being intimate with each other, despite the teasing remarks they’d gotten on more than one occasion, when they finnally, really said it.
“I love you,”
“I love you, too, Shinichi,” Takagi whispered softly into his lovers hair, before they drifted to sleep, holding each other in their arms.

Did anyone guess? No? Damn, I knew this pairing was weird. Despite that, would anyone be willing to draw me a picture of their first kiss?
