In Three Thieves, Kudo Shinichi and Kaitou Kid didn't remember not to cross the streams. What happens after that, as their boundaries are commingled and their understandings of each other change, is what this story's all about.
This fanfiction is in actuality a series of epic fan novels. Currently the first one is complete at 71,000 words, and the second is under construction. We have at least one more planned. ;)

For this particular community only, let me also issue a disclaimer about this fic. Ysabet and I are still writing it as we post it - we're done with book one, more than halfway through book two, and have already begun planning book three - and so we do not have the happy (or not so happy) ending written already. What we can tell you is that we are posting in this particular community for a purpose. We are not, however, writing a story that has only one OTP, one pairing, and one romance in it. There will be more than one romance in this story. Some of them may be red herrings. Some may reach completion; some may not. Several might, but I won't tell you which will or won't. Just that this story is far more complicated than it looks on the surface, and it's going to get even more so.
So don't worry, just sit back and enjoy the ride. We promise, it will be a very fun one. We promise you will read things you won't see coming, and some that you will see coming.
And that is as specific as I'm going to get about it at this time. *very big grin*
