I'm not sure if anyone has this. I remember reading a doujinshi about kaito and shinichi. something about shinichi's parents testing kaito to see if he really loves shinichi.

by chance, does anyone have a copy of this?

I don't know of any scans like that, but I remember a web comic. Shinichi's parents torment Kaito with a fish costume. First Yusaku dresses up in it, the Yukiko challenges him by putting Shinichi in the costume and making Kaito hug him. The site's index/main page is http://lemonade.kagennotuki.com/

No problem. I had it saved in my fanart folder and recognized the artist. They're one of my favorites. So I just had to pull it from my links and check the site.
