I'm so sorry I'm posting again! My friend was convinced that I could paint a better background than the one I had, so I gave it a shot. I feel the result is actually much better! I actually have a question I'd like to ask you guys who love Detective Conan! Since I'm selling these two separately despite their being matching prints, I wanted to find out what you would be more inclined to buy at a convention. The way I'm selling them is like this:
• $8 each
• $15 for both
What I'm worried about is getting into one of those situations where one sells massively better than the other if not everyone buys both. I'm assuming people will probably like the night!version better simply because Kaitou KID is is in it whereas it's just Kaito in slightly underdressed Kid regalia in the daytime version. I'm trying to figure out if I should print less of one version in case not everyone wants to buy both together...

Anyway, I hope you guys will give me your opinion as it's very valuable to me!
• would you buy: the day version, the night version, or both?

(Also, I'm not selling anything just yet but for those of you who were interested, I have a in-progress convention catalogue set up. There's a few other Detective Conan prints as well as some other things. I'm also working on new stuff to add in. I'll be opening up online pre-orders soon to earn some printing funds, so if you're interested I hope you'll look forward to them!

I want them both, but if I was down to my last $8 I'd probably get the night version. (Beautiful sky, there! I love the moonlit clouds!) The day print works best in conjunction with the night print, I think, because Conan's so small and Kid's out of costume, but the night print can stand alone.

(However, I'd really get "modern Lupin and Holmes" with the streetlamp and cherry trees first, and then see how much money I had left.)

Sadly, I'm not going to any conventions for the foreseeable future. Woe.

If you're interested in getting a copy though, I'll have online preorders for these (and for the modern day lupin and holmes one too :D) probably within the next two weeks! I'm really glad you like them! ♥

I think the night version would sell a lot better, the way you drew the background for the clouds just sold it, haha. xD But I'd buy both since $16 for both prints is kind of cheap if you're selling where I live, haha. xD;; (But alas, since Cons are only once every year, people jack up the prices like crazy...)

Yeah, I figured as well! You know it's kind of funny, in the original version I only kept the night version at the top because I liked Kid dropping from the sky. But the night background wasn't all that interesting. Then I repainted it and now it's the opposite haha.

I'LL HAVE ALL THOSE AS PRINTS HAHA. My working convention catalogue already lists it! I'm not sure if I'll be able to do more Detective Conan prints in time, but I'll try ohho. I already have more DC than anything else haha.

YES. 8D I SAW HAHA. I'm glad that it's at least 8x11 size. XD I'd cry if it was anything smaller than that. ;3; But it's marvelous anyways... Omg, lool, if you make more prints, I'll be tempted to get them all from you when you do put it up. 8'D (And I'm thinking of getting some of your keychains too, ohohoho.)

I like night time too, but there's something about a clear blue sky that I really like as well!

AND YES it'll be 8x11 but even if I wanted to I don't think I could go any bigger ahaha. Since the characters are so small on such a large canvas, I'll lose quality if I enlarge them OTL. AHHH I'm running out of timeeee I wanted to do one more new DC print, but I don't think I'll make it in time. ;; I have like...other fandoms that need to be finished first OTL OTL OTL they're already started at least....

8x11 is alright of a size~ 8D (I can stick it in a sheet protector and put it on my wall, ohoho. <3
